As a writer, free speech has always been important to me—regardless of whether or not I agree with what someone says. The online landscape has changed quite a lot since I first started blogging over a decade ago—particularly so in the past couple of years.

Last week, I made a quiet exit from social media. This week, I unpublished all of the blog posts at Teish Knits. Walking away from years of work building social media platforms to promote my writing was hard. Removing 10+ years worth of blog posts was harder still.

I’m still considering whether I’ll resume blogging here at some point, so I’m not deleting the site altogether. If I do start writing again, you’ll know where to find me.
