Outside my window… sunny but chilly. Typical fall day in Maine.
I am thinking… about the second part of the most recent story posted on my blog. I know what comes next, but writing it is rather a different story!
I am thankful for… a warm coal stove!
From the learning rooms… letters, letters everywhere! Handwriting practice and cuneiform. We all decided that we are glad that our alphabet is not 600 letters long!
From the kitchen… cinnamon coffee cake yesterday. Yum!
I am wearing… gray pants and a pink sweater.
I am creating… more baby stuff is being knit, but does that really surprise you?
I am going… to take Munchkin clothes shopping soon, she has outgrown pretty much all of her cold-weather clothes!
I am reading… Soul Identity. It’s a bit interesting, but I don’t know if I’d really recommend it to anyone else.
I am hoping… that math goes well this week!
I am hearing… a pretty quiet house. Now that we are done with school for the day, the kids are watching something about construction while they wait for lunch to finish. J
Pondering these words… “I believe in the sun even when it’s not shining. I believe in love even when I feel it not. I believe in God even when He’s silent.” –Irish Saying
Around the house… our version of cuneiform tablets are drying by the coal stove.
One of my favorite things… the absolutely, totally, and completely hilarious things that my kids say!
A few plans for the rest of the week: More school, more phone calls and other “office work”, more writing and more on my list than will ever get done!
