Outside my window… it’s snowing again today. March is definitely coming in like a lion, so maybe it will be spring in a few weeks.

I am thinking… that I don’t want to think about how long it’s been since I did my Monday Daybook post…

I am thankful for… some of the wonderful friends I’ve made because of my interest in writing.

From the learning rooms… I’m in the middle of a big re-arranging and re-organizing project in our dining/school room. The irony of this is not lost on me, since I recently wrote about the Top 10 Reasons NOT to Organize Your Homeschool.

From the kitchen… I need to make bread today. I actually enjoy baking bread, but for some reason I’ve been putting it off this time. Snowy days are a good time to bake bread though.

I am wearing… my fleece PJs because it’s snowing and I just barely finished my first cup of tea today. I have to have my first cup of tea before I can really start my day.

I am creating… the cutest knit hats. They look very vintage, and I just love the pattern.

I am going… to stay indoors today, though I’ll have to be out a couple of times this week. I’m hoping those days have clear skies and roads!

I am reading… so many things! Currently, I’m working on Prayer and Everything. The second book is for review, so keep your eyes open for that. I have another book that I really want to start, but I have to finish these first. We’ll see how well I stick to that…

I am hoping… to get the newest issue of Home Educating Family Magazine soon. I’ve been told that this next issue is full of great articles, and some of them are written by my Review Team friends! I absolutely love seeing my friends’ work get published!

I am hearing… the gentle hum of computers. The older kids are upstairs, and Little Guy is hanging out in the living room… quietly… the last time it was this quiet he ate half a big bag of M&Ms… I’d better go check.

Pondering these words… “A lot of parents will do anything for their kids except let them be themselves.” – Unknown

Around the house… I have the itch to pare down. It must be the impending arrival of spring, right?

One of my favorite things… is watching snow fall while sipping my tea. I’m ready for spring, but there is something about falling snow that is peaceful and beautiful… at least when you’re watching from inside a warm house!

A few plans for the rest of the week: I’m hoping to weed through some of our homeschooling stuff and pare it down a bit. And I’ll dream a bit more about springtime home projects!
