Outside my window… I woke up to sunshine! (And the power is back, yay!) We only got what amounted to a decent storm up our way.

I am thinking… about some of the writing and paperwork that I have to work on this week.

I am thankful for… kids who love their baby brother.

From the learning rooms… using a straw and cup to explain to Munchkin how a pump can pull water out of a well. She had asked me why we needed electricity to have running water. I really enjoy some of these impromptu “lessons” the most!

From the kitchen… shredded wheat for breakfast.

I am wearing… jeans, a purple top and my trusty purple crocs of course!

I am creating… the chocolate brown sweater. It’s still on the needles, and will be for quite some time, but I’ve gotten to the lace section on the body. I had forgotten how much fun this particular lace patter is! Perhaps I should try more lace knitting in the future.

I am going… to start writing in my orange leather journal this week.

I am reading… Ann’s book, One Thousand Gifts.

I am hoping… that I’ll figure life out sometime within my lifetime.

I am hearing… the Little Guy finding his voice… and a loud voice it is!

Pondering these words… “The greatest thing is to give thanks for everything. He who has learned this knows what it means to live.”

Around the house… a bit of camping gear that needs to be put back in storage.

One of my favorite things… is the sound of rain.

A few plans for the rest of the week: Just another typical week in the Priest home!
