Outside my window… it looks like it might rain today, and there are a few leaves that have started to turn.

I am thinking… about the sin of worry. That’s one that I struggle with daily in my life.

I am thankful for… a husband who loves me anyway!

From the learning rooms… writing down carefully articulated goals for each of the kids this year. (Except for Little Guy, he’s busy enough just learning what feet are!)

From the kitchen… we had some DELICIOUS green beans fresh from the garden this past weekend! Yum!

I am wearing… my “got yarn?” t-shirt and $1 yard sale find capris. Any guesses about what’s on my feet?

I am creating… still knitting away at the sweater mentioned last week, and making pencil cups/post-it holders out of old floppy disks. (Check out the directions here and just try to resist making one yourself!)

I am going… to take advantage of The Old Schoolhouse Magazine warehouse wipeout sale to score some back issues for a good deal. If you are looking for homeschool magazines take a peek here!

I am reading… One Thousand Gifts.

I am hoping… to learn better how not to worry.

I am hearing… Aaron typing next to me while the kiddos are very quiet…

Pondering these words… “Worry is like a rocking chair–it gives you something to do but it doesn’t get you anywhere.”

Around the house… books, crayons, paper and freshly sharpened pencils!

One of my favorite things… finding a good deal on sneakers for the kids. Shoes can get really expensive!

A few plans for the rest of the week: just the usual type of week around here for us. J But do keep watching, there will be a book review and author interview coming up soon!
