Outside my window… it’s a sunny day, but the bare ground has been replaced with a blanket of white.

I am thinking… about all of the changes that are about to happen. Pondering the mystery of God’s timing.

I am thankful for… kids who make us laugh!

From the kitchen… I baked a cake yesterday, and I’m thinking of making some blueberry muffins.

I am wearing… grey maternity PJ’s. They are the only pair that still fits at this point!

I am creating… baby booties! I’ve been churning them out while I wait for the baby to put them on.

I am going… to have to get my hands on a copy of The Annotated Firebird! I can’t wait to read it!

I am reading… about how to make my writing better. It’s hard work to write a good story.

I am hoping… that this baby decides to come out and meet us soon!

I am hearing… a pretty quiet morning with occasional conversations with the kids. It’s not usually this quiet around here first thing in the morning!

Pondering these words… “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die…” – Ecclesiastes 3:1&2a

Around the house… I’ve been trying to keep laundry caught up as much as possible so that I don’t have to worry about it for the first week or so after the baby is born. Doing odds and ends as I have the energy.

One of my favorite things… Camo talking to the baby. He asked the baby to come out and see us, paused for a moment and told me with a shake of his head, “I don’t think he’s coming out.”

A few plans for the rest of the week: More knitting, perhaps some writing, possibly sewing another receiving blanket today and spending a few quiet moments with my kids and my husband before the excitement begins!
