Outside my window… it’s a bit cloudy.

I am thinking… about baby monitors and doing some comparison shopping to figure out the best deal.

I am thankful for… time spent with family and friends this weekend.

From the learning rooms… still on maternity leave, but still learning about the birds outside our window!

From the kitchen… between frozen stuff and food brought by friends I don’t think I’ll have to cook for another week yet.

I am wearing… black pants (with elastic!) and a Red Sox t-shirt.

I am creating… a shawl. I get a few rows done on a typical day. Not much, but at least I’m knitting!

I am going… to try and spend some time outside if it’s warm enough this week!

I am reading… mostly still just blogs and such. Hoping to start some of my book list soon.

I am hoping… to get a bit more sleep tonight.

I am hearing… a baby sleeping quietly on my arm.

Pondering these words…     “Cleaning and cooking can wait ’till tomorrow

For babies grow up, as we’ve learned to our sorrow.

So quiet down cobwebs, dust go to sleep,

I’m rocking my baby, and babies don’t keep.”

Around the house… still rather chaotic. I’d forgotten how much time is spent nursing a newborn!

One of my favorite things… snuggling a tiny baby close.

A few plans for the rest of the week: Just planning on taking care of my kiddos and doing some laundry and dishes. Also switching over Little Guy’s clothes from newborn to the 0 – 3 month size. He’s grown!
