Video Review: Well Planned Lessons

Note: Because the FTC has nothing better to do than make life difficult for us bloggers, I’m required to disclose the following at the beginning of this post: While this is not a paid or sponsored review, I have done some work for Well Planned Gal, the publisher of this product. The opinions expressed, whether positive or negative are completely my own. Personally, I’m waiting for sponsorship disclaimers from all of the politicians in DC, but I’ll probably be waiting a long time…

I’ve been thinking about doing the occasional video review for a while now, and I decided to do my first one for a product that I am so excited to tell you about!

Well Planned Gal has come out with a new line of lesson plans, Well Planned Lessons. I’ve always loved the idea of a literature-based curriculum, but I quickly discovered just how hard it was to put one together myself. I had the chance to test out Well Planned Lessons with my own kids last year. My kids read so many great books last year! I can’t tell you how happy that made me, and even the kids told me how much they enjoyed all of the cool books they read.

Well Planned Lessons are available for Preschool all the way through 12th grade. 1st through 12th are on a 4-year history cycle. That just means that for each of those grades, you have for options for which period of history you study. You can choose from Ancient Civilizations, Cultures & Ideas, A New Nation, or Modern World & Geography. The beauty of this is that no matter what grades your kids are in, they can all be studying the same period of history! We went through A New Nation last year, and we’re on Modern World & Geography this year.
