Teatime for October 21st

I’m having… my usual these days, red raspberry leaf tea.

My mug… is another polka-dotted mug from my sister. She always gets me nice big mugs!

I’m feeling… a bit sad, and wishing that I had all of the answers. Learning to be content with not always knowing “why”.

On my mind… sight words and math facts. My life has been taken over by flashcards! I’m wondering if sheer repetition is the best way to learn things like this.

“The Hebrew word for parents is horim, and it comes from the same root as moreh, teacher. The parent is, and remains, the first and most important teacher that the child will ever have.” –Rabbi Kassel Ableson
