Teatime for December 23rd

I’m having… Red Raspberry Leaf tea and a bowl of oatmeal with strawberries.

My mug… is the New York mug that Mom brought home from a trip.

I’m feeling… pregnant, definitely pregnant! And thankful for so many things!

On my mind… deciding not to store the finished cake in the oven. I did that last year and had to make a replacement in two hours because I forgot about it and turned my oven on! At least I (sometimes) learn from my mistakes.

“Clearly, since we live in a house, eat when we are hungry, drink when we are thirsty, put on clothes when we are cold… obviously we have enough.” — Stephanie Pearl-McPhee

I thought that quote sort of put things in perspective for me at this particular time of year. I’ve been reminded more this year of how blessed I truly am. If those with far less than me can still hold fast to their faith in Christ and recognize that He IS everything they need, then so should I.

  1. I love that quote oh so true if we could just hold on to that fact that Jesus IS enough and always will be.
