Sweet Gifts Product Review (and Giveaway!)

Dayspring has some really lovely gift collections. Their sweet gifts collection with cupcakes in pastel shades immediately made me think of my seven-year-old daughter!

Sweet Gifts Assortment Set
The set includes a canvas tote bag, metal water bottle, journal, and magnetic note pad.

The tote bag is made of lightweight canvas material. The patch featuring this collection’s key verse, I Timothy 6:17, is actually a pocket. It’s the perfect size for a phone or wallet. The straps are sewn on firmly and I’m sure the tote bag will hold up to plenty of use! The button closure looks cute, but I think a snap closure would have been more practical.

As soon as the metal water bottle came out, my daughter fell in love with it! I have a water bottle of my own that I keep filled throughout the day, and my daughter was thrilled to have a cute water bottle of her own! I like the fact that it’s metal, so I don’t have to worry about BPA content and such. The screw-on cap fits snugly and we tested it by shaking the full bottle upside-down over the sink without any leaking.

Munchkin wanted to start her own gratitude journal like mine. This journal is perfect for that! More than just a cute cover, the 256 yellow and pink inside pages feature more cupcakes and a verse or inspirational quote at the bottom of every other page. The spiral binding is nice and sturdy.

Magnetic note pads are a must in our house. I try to always have one on the fridge for notes about what needs to be picked up at the grocery store. The note pad from the sweet gifts collection just makes me smile whenever I see it on the fridge! The only thing that would have made it better would have been lined pages.

The verse featured on the collection is I Timothy 6:17, “God richly gives us everything to enjoy.” Seeing the verse throughout the day reminds me that everything truly is a gift from God. I’ve been trying lately to cultivate a spirit of gratefulness in myself, and it’s not always easy! Having that little reminder stuck to my fridge helps me reset my thinking.

All in all, this is a fabulous little gift set, and would be perfect for spring birthdays or maybe even Mother’s Day! Or, if you’re really organized, take advantage of Dayspring’s current “Buy 2, get 1 free” sale and stock up on some great gifts for Christmas.

  1. How funny that I didn’t even see the first comment. I was going to say the EXACT same thing! The Redeemed Everything Beautiful Jewelry Tree! I also like the Faith Journal. I have a soft spot for journals~

  2. So many nice things to choose from, but I’ll have to agree with the first two responders. My favorite is the Redeemed Everything Beautiful Jewelry Tree.

  3. I shared this on my facebook page. Thanks so much for a giveaway! I loved perusing the sight, even though I probably shouldn’t have taken time out to do so!
