Daybook for September 3rd

Outside my window… it’s a bit dark, but the moon will be out later to brighten things up.

I am thinking… about some re-organizing and possibly furniture moving…

I am thankful for… a chance to get out for a few hours. It was just the break I needed!

From the learning rooms… the kids are enjoying a break before New Book Day, and the teacher is busy getting geared up for it!

From the kitchen… peanut butter chocolate chip brownies came out of the oven last night. I’m not sure who likes them more, me or the kids.

I am wearing… jeans and a pumpkin orange t-shirt. That might clash just a bit with my bright coral tennis shoes…

I am creating… a quilt that I started work on this weekend. I had a piece of fabric that I’d picked up for Mom years ago, and I decided to plan the color scheme around that particular piece of fabric. It’s a little brighter than I usually care for, but it’s still pretty.

I am going… have to find room in the closet to store the pack n’ play. It’s almost a bit sad whenever another piece of baby gear gets packed away.

I am reading… a bit of everything at the moment, books for review, books for fun, and books for school. I’ve got something going for every mood, now I just need to finish some of them!

I am hoping… that the nice weather continues for a while. Beautiful days with nice moderate temperatures.

I am hearing… instrumental music by a composer that my IT staff just discovered. It’s really good, and nice music for writing.

Pondering these words… “Gratitude turns what we have into enough.” – Unknown

Around the house… the Little Guy moved into the boys’ room. Mr. Q and Camo were thrilled with their new roommate!

One of my favorite things… is how excited the kids get whenever Daddy comes home. You seriously cannot beat the pounding feet as they run to the door loudly proclaiming, “Daddy’s HOME!”

A few plans for the rest of the week: More planning, organizing, laundry, and maybe a bit of relaxing in there too!
