Outside my window… it looks like fall, but feels like summer.
I am thinking… about Camo’s birthday coming up in about six weeks. I’m pondering what sort of cake to make for him. I know that I still have time to decide, but I like to plan ahead.
I am thankful for… the spark of creativity in my children. (Even if the expression is at times messy!)
From the learning rooms… my kids seem to have inherited my penmanship. I’m doing my best to change this. I found some really nice copywork pages for Munchkin, and it seems to be helping her to slow down and write as neatly as she can.
From the kitchen… I just finished off the last Twix bar in the package… Do you think Aaron will notice?
I am wearing… jeans, my “Got Yarn?” t-shirt and the LL Bean mocs that my feet spend the colder months living in.
I am creating… the sweetest princess sweater for Munchkin. My plan is to knit it for Christmas. I’m trying to alter the pattern slightly though, so we will see how successful that is!
I am reading… still reading One Thousand Gifts.
I am hoping… that fall doesn’t pass by too quickly.
I am hearing… John William’s march from “1941”. I’ve never seen the movie, but the music is fantastic! I’m a sucker for a good march!
Pondering these words… “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” – Isaiah 41:10
Around the house… this may not be exactly “around the house” but I want to wallpaper my living room with this photo!
One of my favorite things… the kids taking an empty cereal box and making a parking lot out of it for their cars.
A few plans for the rest of the week: Lots of learning, laughing and laundry!
