Daybook for September 20th

Outside my window… leaves are beginning to turn, but it is still pretty warm outside.

I am thinking… that if you have so many things in the story that don’t make sense, that it becomes impossible for you to write an ending that makes ANY sort of sense whatsoever, then you should probably not bother writing to begin with. (I just watched the series finale of Lost.)

I am thankful for… fresh, clean water anytime I want a drink.

From the learning rooms… the first day of school had its moments, but overall, it was a good start!

From the kitchen… I think that corn chowder and blueberry muffins are in order for supper sometime this week, maybe even tomorrow.

I am wearing… black stretchy pants and a pink sweater.

I am creating… my thick, orange sweater that is still in progress.

I am going… to probably be worn out by the end of the week!

I am reading… pretty much just stuff that relates to homeschooling the kids.

I am hoping… to sort out just where my Mr. Q fits into our little “school” since he’s very bright, but still very young.

I am hearing… Veggie Tales in the living room, giving me enough time to blog!

Pondering these words… “Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.” – Jeremiah 9:23-24

Around the house… we’re still holding off lighting up the stove, but it may be soon.

One of my favorite things… is hearing the little tiny heartbeat of the smallest Priest!

A few plans for the rest of the week: Continuing with our educational efforts and keeping a food diary for my next appointment with my midwife. (Do I HAVE to list the ice cream that the kids and I just ate?)
