Outside my window… overcast and gray, but the autumn leaves give the landscape some color.
I am thinking… about why typing on a keyboard is so loud. I’m trying to type quietly as Aaron is on the phone next to me, but I don’t think I’m being successful.
I am thankful for… the chance to visit Aaron’s family last night. The kids had a wonderful time, and so did us adults!
From the learning rooms… subtraction this week is the new thing. Munchkin seems to be picking up arithmetic without too much trouble. Another thing I’m thankful for!
From the kitchen… I made peanut butter fudge the end of last week. I had a sudden craving for it at 9:30 PM one night! Shhh, don’t tell my midwife!
I am wearing… slightly rumpled khakis and a denim shirt. I decided not to iron the maternity clothes that I pulled out of storage! The wrinkles will shake out.
I am creating… wool mittens for the boys, since I cannot find ANY of their mittens. I think a wool-loving monster lurks in our house and gobbles up the mittens.
I am going… to take the kids to their annual check-ups later this week. Thankfully, Aaron goes with me to help with the kids!
I am reading… things relating to an author interview that will be published on two blogs in the near future, details to follow.
I am hoping… to get a few things sorted out this week. Phone calls and paperwork are not my favorite thing!
I am hearing… Aaron typing next to me!
Pondering these words… “Of two evils, choose neither.” –Charles Spurgeon
Around the house… laundry and dishes, there is no end.
One of my favorite things… school by a warm coal stove!
A few plans for the rest of the week: Appointments, a million odds and ends, and the ongoing search for a kitchen pantry.
