Daybook for November 22nd

Outside my window… it’s snowing!

I am thinking… about plans for this week. It will be busy, but I think it will be a lot of fun!

I am thankful for… a new mattress for my little Munchkin! Thank-you LORD!

From the learning rooms… math review this week and finishing up a few things before Thanksgiving.

From the kitchen… Aaron’s birthday cake came out delicious! We’ll see how my mini Thanksgiving dinner comes out on Thursday…

I am wearing… black pants and a red sweater.

I am creating… knit sweaters for the kids for Christmas gifts. I think this new pattern will work. Hopefully, if it has errors, they won’t be too difficult to sort out!

I am going… to one store on Black Friday, and only one. It will be a SHORT trip!

I am reading… a bit more Sherlock Holmes and a lot of research for my writing.

I am hoping… that things this week go well regarding a number of things.

I am hearing… the boys “picking up” their toys so that I can vacuum the living room.

Pondering these words… “…we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations…” – George Washington (Another little preview of my upcoming Thanksgiving post. Look for it sometime in the next two days!)

Around the house… the coal stove is really burning hot today!

One of my favorite things… playing board games with Aaron.

A few plans for the rest of the week: A bit of baking, a bit of school, a bit of knitting and a bit of shopping are all on the agenda.
