Daybook for May 3rd

Outside my window… overcast, but still warm. Perhaps summer has arrived after all.

I am thinking… too much.

I am thankful that… I had the kind of Mom that everyone wishes they had.

From the learning rooms… still trying to practice letter sounds with Munchkin. Surprisingly, Camo seems to be picking some of it up.

From the kitchen… at least I’m willing to admit that I HAVE a kitchen now! Progress is being made.

I am wearing… denim shorts, Aaron’s t-shirt and the paint-splattered purple crocs that Mom gave me four years ago.

I am creating… a poem inspired by some of the Psalms.

I am going… to keep sorting things for my yard sale in three weeks.

I am reading… a lot of the Psalms and a book about clearing out the clutter.

I am hoping… for strength.

I am hearing… the hum of the AC in the office and the chatter of three little (OK, not so little) ones playing in the living room.

Around the house… made real progress on the office yesterday. I can see the floor!

Pondering these words… “Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand.”

One of my favorite things… hearing the excitement in their voices as they tell me that there are LOTS of yellow flowers (dandelions) outside in the yard!
