Outside my window… the dark thunderclouds have moved on and it’s sunny once again.

I am thinking… about a new little story idea that is being persistant.

I am thankful for… weather that changes. I enjoy the variety.

From the learning rooms… a week off! The kiddos will enjoy a break, and I’ll plan out our next six weeks.

From the kitchen… Grammy Lila’s whoopie pies are in the oven! Wish I could sit at her kitchen table with a tall glass of sun tea.

I am wearing… jeans, purple top, and TPCs.

I am creating… a bright knitted blanket. It’s not exactly blanket weather, but the simple knitting is soothing.

I am going… to make a batch of sun tea sometime this week.

I am reading… Five Glass Slippers. It’s a collection of stories based on the Cinderella fairy tale. Really brilliant takes on the concept in my opinion! A review is coming soon!

I am hoping… the sprouts in our little pallet garden keep sprouting.

I am hearing… Pushing on a Pull Door by for King & Country.

Pondering these words… “When you’re upside-down, then you’ll see it all. That you spend all your time pushing on a pull door.” – for King & Country

Around the house… windows are open! I love the time of year when we can open up the windows.

One of my favorite things… is the fresh air making the curtains flutter.

A few plans for the rest of the week: Taking some time to relax, lesson planning, laundry, and all of the usual things!
