Daybook for March 22nd

Outside my window… The gray sky seems somehow appropriate.

I am thinking… about the loved ones who I miss.

I am thankful for… hugs and kisses from three precious kids.

From the kitchen… perhaps some baking later this week.

I am wearing… pink PJs and an alpaca sweater that was a gift from a dear friend.

I am creating… a knitted shawl.

I am going… to rest today.

I am reading… Saving Sailor still. Perhaps I’ll make some good progress this week.

I am hoping… that healing comes quickly.

I am hearing… the kids happily playing with blocks in the living room.

Around the house… it’s been nice to have my husband home most of the week.

Pondering these words… “God never makes mistakes, and His timing is always perfect.”

One of my favorite things… having a sister.

Note to my readers:

My personal life has taken an unexpected series of ups and downs the last few weeks, and though I don’t have the heart to do it right now, I hope that in the next week or two I’ll be back to more regular posting, as well as doing the story a week again.
