Daybook for June 7th

Outside my window… it’s looking to be a really beautiful day.

I am thinking… about a novel idea that I stuck on the back burner a while ago. Perhaps I’ll work on the outline a bit this week.

I am thankful for… seeing a really nice doctor and nurse this past week.

From the kitchen… buckeye brownies. Oh. My. Goodness! SO good!

I am wearing… my new pac-man nightgown, because it’s just so cool! (Yep, total geek.)

I am creating… chucked the fingerless mitts, back to working on a tank top for me. I’d better order the yarn for Mr. Q’s birthday sweater though, it’s less than a month away!

I am going… to be on antibiotics for TWO weeks because I was so stubborn about going to see a doctor for this sinus infection. Stubbornness can get you into trouble.

I am reading… What Your Childhood Memories Say About You (And What You Can Do About It) by Dr. Kevin Leman. What can I say, I was at Wal-Mart and the book practically had my name all over it.

I am hoping… to hold onto a glimmer of my current optimism!

I am hearing… relative quiet (the boys are munching on Froot Loops) and “If We Never Meet Again” by Selah.

Pondering these words…     “Where the charming roses bloom forever
Separations come no more.
If we never meet again this side of Heaven
I will meet you on that beautiful shore.”

Around the house… flowers blooming outside and tomato plant seedlings growing inside.

One of my favorite things… watching a really great documentary with Aaron and pausing it periodically to discuss it with him.

A few plans for the rest of the week: I’ve got to start thinking about Mr. Q’s birthday party and figuring out what kind of cake to make!
