Daybook for June 14th

Outside my window… it’s raining. Quite impressively. Windy too.

I am thinking… about the general lack of manners in society today, and what a sad thing that is indeed.

I am thankful for… a really great fire department in our town.

From the learning rooms… sorting through what to get for next year, and analyzing the mistakes I made this past year.

From the kitchen… going to try out Joyce’s awesome casserole recipe maybe later this week. She made a batch last night and it was delicious!

I am wearing… don’t laugh, my Batgirl PJs…

I am creating… a nice summer tank top is on my knitting needles, and it’s getting pretty close to done!

I am going… to try and box up the last of the kids’ winter clothes for storage.

I am reading… well, too many books started, and none finished.

I am hoping… for a productive week now that I’m feeling more like myself!

I am hearing… Aaron in the kitchen reheating leftovers for a late lunch.

Pondering these words… “We know what we are, but know not what we may be.” (Can anyone tell me what Shakespeare play that line is from?)

Around the house… my tiger lilies look like they are going to have lots of flowers!

One of my favorite things… the smell of the air after a rain storm.
