Daybook for July 9th

 

Outside my window… we have more beautiful weather today! It’s sunny and warm, but a nice breeze keeps us cool and keeps the bugs away.

I am thinking… about various organizational ideas that I’ve come across, and what would make sense to implement in our dining/school room.

I am thankful for… blue sky and puffy white clouds.

From the learning rooms… we start using our new planner this week. Well, I’ve been using it for the past week as I plan, but the kids got last week off.

From the kitchen… English muffin bread is rising and will be good with lunch.

I am wearing… denim capris, a purple t-shirt, and my trusty purple crocs.

I am creating… socks and mittens. When I do knit on something, it’s either my socks or mittens. They seem to make good summer projects.

I am going… to try and crack open the Rainbow Resource catalog that came in the mail today. I seriously had no idea it was that thick!

I am reading… books for review. Now I need to finish the books that I picked up because I read someone else’s review of them!

I am hoping… to figure out where my writing is going and what I need to do to get there.

I am hearing… kiddos playing, always a nice sound!

Around the house… I’ve been busy shuffling and sorting books, making lists, looking through the CBD Homeschool catalog, and sifting through downloaded resources on my computer.

One of my favorite things… is watching a good mystery with my IT staff. Though he does tend to figure who the culprit is way before I do!

A few plans for the rest of the week: I need to pull together my grocery list and meal planning for the next couple of weeks. And of course, all of the usual stuff moms do!
