Outside my window… it’s overcast this morning and raining off and on, but the below 70 temperature this morning feels amazing!
I am thinking… about what needs to change, and what I can’t change. Sometimes it’s hard to tell the difference.
I am thankful for… fresh, cool air fluttering the curtains.
From the learning rooms… we have about a month of light studying to do and then we’ll take a few weeks off before the start of the next school year.
From the kitchen… it’s been too hot to do much cooking, but maybe today I’ll actually bake some bread.
I am wearing… tan capri pants and a bright pink top. (With my trusty purple crocs of course!)
I am creating… a cable knit sleeve for an electronic device with a story behind it. I’ll write up a post with that story later.
I am going… to be doing a big grocery shopping trip this week. Time to get the coupons out and make a list.
I am reading… Red Dawn Rising. It’s the sequel to The Sound of Red Returning. You can read my review of the first book by clicking here.
I am hoping… to make progress on several projects this week.
I am hearing… a toddler running around in the living room and LEGOs being played with in the dining room.
Pondering these words… “You have 25% of your children’s lives to prepare them for the remaining 75%. Use the time wisely.” – Amanda Bennett
Around the house… I’m considering how to best put up a clothesline. There is nothing like the fresh smell of line-dried clothes!
One of my favorite things… was celebrating my in-law’s 40th anniversary with them this past weekend. We enjoy spending time with them anyway, and this was definitely a cause for celebration!
A few plans for the rest of the week: Lots of writing on the schedule! Lesson planning, and of course laundry!
