Daybook for January 3rd

Outside my window… it’s been awfully windy today, but at least it was sunny!

I am thinking… about which book to buy. I’m debating between a few on the same topic.

I am thankful for… the chance to grab a late afternoon nap today.

From the learning rooms… time to get back into the groove again.

From the kitchen… not much today! I brought home a late lunch for all of us when I was out running errands.

I am wearing… a t-shirt declaring that I’m “Eating for Two”.

I am creating… the most adorable little baby quilt! It’s turning out a bit more girly than I’d anticipated though…

I am going… to move the boys’ clothes into separate drawers this week. They’ve been sharing a set of plastic ones, but they now need one set for each of them.

I am reading… North and South. (Not related to the miniseries on the War Between the States.) I saw the BBC adaptation and loved the story so much that I HAD to read the book!

I am hoping… that the mouse traps I bought catch those little buggers who have been keeping us awake at night!

I am hearing… the boys watching a video while Munchkin organizes her Littlest Pet Shop pets.

Pondering these words… “Mommy, I love you.” – I hear these words from my children daily, yet they still make me smile!

Around the house… many empty boxes were broken down today! It seems like there are always cardboard boxes around here!

One of my favorite things… is how excited my kids get over something as simple as a new toothbrush.

A few plans for the rest of the week: I hope to finish up that baby quilt and tackle a few organizational projects around here.
