Daybook for January 10th

Outside my window… sun with plenty of wind!

I am thinking… about a bit of rearranging that I have to do with laundry hampers.

I am thankful for… my iron levels being the same as they were when I started my pregnancy! Thank-you LORD!!!

From the learning rooms… it’s just about time for me to order Singapore Primary Math 1B.

From the kitchen… perhaps a pumpkin pie to come?

I am wearing… black pants, pink tee and a burgundy hoodie. Layers are key in the winter or while pregnant!

I am creating… more baby knitting since my two baby quilts are finished, yay! I’m happy with the way they came out, and I’m thinking of sewing a hooded baby towel next.

I am going… to get a package tomorrow!

I am reading… Free-Range Knitter by Stephanie Pearl-McPhee. The chapter involving an elevator, half-knit sock and merino sock yarn had me in tears from laughing!

I am hoping… that I get back into my groove this week.

I am hearing… the quiet house during nap/book time.

Pondering these words… “True happiness is not attained through self-gratification, but through fidelity to a worthy purpose.” – Helen Keller

Around the house… there is a lovely panoramic HDR photograph by my talented husband that I’m most anxious to get up on the wall!

One of my favorite things… snuggly, warm fleece PJ’s in the winter.

A few plans for the rest of the week: Trying to get back to a schedule and restore a bit of order!

  1. What a wonderful way to document life, Teish! 🙂

I’m sorry I missed before that you were pregnant. When’s your baby due? Ours is due any day. None of my maternity clothes fit anymore, so I know what you mean about essential layers.

    Take care,

  2. Sorry it took me a week to reply Amy!

I’m due end of March or beginning of April. 🙂 I’ll be keeping an eye on your blog for news of your baby’s birth!
