Outside my window… the occasional snowflake has progressed to a steady snowfall.
I am thinking… about the past three years, and how many things have changed.
I am thankful for… the time I’ve been given.
From the learning rooms… Multiplication! (You might find me cowering under the table… multiplication does that to me.)
From the kitchen… the kettle is on. A cup of tea must accompany snow. Actually, my fingers are still cold from going out to get an extra bag of coal!
I am wearing… jeans, a purple shirt, and a lovely alpaca cardigan.
I am creating… a wedding gift, a birthday gift, and something for me! I’m knitting myself a pair of fingerless mitts, and I chose a color called New England. How could I not knit something out of a yarn with a name like that?
I am going… to stay inside my nice, toasty house and have some tea… the snowfall is really picking up out there!
I am reading… The Way They Learn by Cynthia Tobias. I picked it up to give me greater insight into my children’s unique learning styles, but so far I’ve been laughing because I can see myself and my IT staff in some of them!
I am hoping… that my teething baby will feel a little better soon.
I am hearing… ambient household noise, but it’s a fairly quiet moment… for now.
Pondering these words… “I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I’ve ended up where I needed to be.” – Douglas Adams
Around the house… the amount of laundry in the hampers seems to grow exponentially while I’m sleeping…
One of my favorite things… hot tea and an interesting book.
A few plans for the rest of the week: Just another regular week around here!
