Outside my window… Snow… more snow…

I am thinking… about pre-ordering the Well-Planned Day planner from Home Educating Family. I’ve been using it during this school year and I really like it! They currently have a pre-order sale going on.

I am thankful for… lunch with my husband.

From the learning rooms… more handwriting practice is definitely in order this week.

From the kitchen… cheesecake to make today!

I am wearing… clothes with elasticity because I’m beginning to resemble a beached whale! (It has nothing to do with the aforementioned cheesecake…)

I am creating… an adorable little cabled baby sweater. This baby is going to have quite the stash of knitted items!

I am going… to see my midwife this weekend. I really look forward to my appointments with her!

I am reading… my newest issues of “The Old Schoolhouse” and “Home Educating Family”. If you are looking for good magazines about home educating then they are both good options!

I am hoping… to catch up on some writing that I’ve been neglecting.

I am hearing… just the normal ambient noises in my home since it’s nap/rest time.

Pondering these words… “Love is not passion. It is the pulse of sacrifice.” – Ann Voskamp from A Holy Experience

Around the house… I’m washing baby clothes and stocking the changing table.

One of my favorite things… a cup of Earl Grey tea and kringle from Racine, Wisconisin!

A few plans for the rest of the week: I need to catch up on laundry and writing among other things! Making a list of things to pick up on Saturday after my appointment as well. This may be my last trip to the “big city” before the baby comes.
