Daybook for December 20th

Outside my window… it’s very dark because I almost forgot that it was Monday!

I am thinking… about how fun it is to gather the kids and the dog all on our bed to open their Christmas stockings!

I am thankful for… reassuring little kicks from the baby.

From the learning rooms… we are on “vacation” for two weeks, but there will still be plenty of lessons since Munchkin enjoys them so much!

From the kitchen… $100 fudge cooling in the kitchen. You know it’s Christmas when that recipe comes out!

I am wearing… warm fleece!

I am creating… sweaters that are nearly done! Plenty of sewing has been wrapped up this weekend as well.

I am going… to be busy this week! But hopefully, we’ll have some quiet time at home as a family too.

I am reading… I’m deciding what to read, and I’m leaning towards Robin Hood.

I am hoping… that plans go smoothly this week.

I am hearing… a pretty quiet house, since the kiddos are in bed, but I can still hear the coal stove cranking away to keep us warm!

Pondering these words… “What can withstand time? …. I don’t know…. Maybe it’s not our products that really outlast our lives — only what we do with praise.” – Ann from A Holy Experience

Around the house… gifts from my kitchen are taking up some of my dining room table space as I package them.

One of my favorite things… a husband who is very kind when I’m not feeling well!

A few plans for the rest of the week: Spending time with Aaron’s parents and my Dad and sister.
