Daybook for April 18th

Outside my window… sun and clouds but lots of wind.

I am thinking… about what to call the newest little one here on the blog.

I am thankful for… a healthy baby boy!

From the learning rooms… Mommy’s the one doing the learning this week. I’m learning how to manage with three active kids and a newborn in the house!

From the kitchen… the freezer is still pretty stocked, so I don’t think I’ll really have to cook this week. I’m very thankful for that!

I am wearing… black pants with stretch and a comfy purple t-shirt. My shape is currently in transition…

I am creating… not much more than just writing a bit in the baby book. Can you believe that I haven’t picked up my knitting in over a week?

I am going… to take the baby to the doctor’s for a check-up this week, but hopefully we’ll just be hanging out at home the rest of the time.

I am reading… not much more than just e-mail and blogs this past week.

I am hoping… that warm weather is just around the corner!

I am hearing… the oldest three kids playing happily in the living room while the baby sleeps peacefully in the sling.

Pondering these words… “Worry is a cycle of inefficient thoughts whirling around a vortex of fear.” – Corrie Ten Boom

Around the house… is a bit (maybe more than a bit) of chaos. We sort of left the house in a hurry a week ago and came home to a bout of the stomach flu. Hopefully we’ll get a few things done this week.

One of my favorite things… teeny-tiny fingers wrapping around just one of my fingers and holding on tight.

A few plans for the rest of the week: A well-baby check-up and maybe catching up with a couple of things around the house. But mostly just hanging out with the kids and getting a nap in whenever I can!
