Daybook for April 12th

Outside my window… sunshine and clouds alternately, and the beginnings of green grass.

I am thinking… brain is not firing on all cylinders today, not much thinking going on!

I am thankful for… a two-year-old who still occasionally likes to curl up in Mommy’s lap.

From the learning rooms… still finding my own way, and stumbling along. I’ve learned that teaching your children is harder than being the child that is taught.

From the kitchen… pork chop casserole sometime today. It’s one that Aaron requested that I make again.

I am wearing… capri pants and an LL Bean t-shirt.

I am creating… more bibs and burp cloths are being knit to replenish my stash.

I am going… to plant some tiger lilies today.

I am reading… The Scarlet Letter still. Not sure yet if I really like Hawthorne’s writing style. Time will tell.

I am hoping… that it actually warms up later so that I don’t freeze planting my tiger lilies!

I am hearing… the kids in the living room playing.

Around the house… coupons to clip, laundry to do, and generally just more things to be done than I’ll wind up getting to!

One of my favorite things… hugging my littlest guy, even if he does have glitter all over his face…
