Whether I’m writing, working, or folding laundry, I’ve usually got music playing. I recently came across an album that was released by in the early 90s by a group called Celtic Thunder.
This album has a mix of instrumental and vocal music, all of it with a lovely Celtic folk music flavor. The group has released many more albums, and I’m looking forward to listening to some of their other work because of how much I have enjoyed this album.
I think what appeals most to me about the album is that there’s something about it that reminds me of the sing alongs at the annual Cumming’s Reunion when I was a kid. The acoustic guitar and the storytelling style of of the songs reminds me of those precious moments in time and the people I shared them with.
If you’re a fan of Celtic folk music, then Light of Other Days is a wonderful addition to your music collection.
