I fell in love with Rachel Hauck’s books when I read her Royal Wedding Series several years back. It wasn’t exactly my typical genre of choice, but the characters were interesting and engaging, and her writing style makes for a lovely read! Since then, her books have been on my “must pre-order” list.

I was excited when she announced the first book in her new True Blue Royal series, and pre-ordered To Love a Prince immediately. I read it in just two day, and it was every bit as wonderful as I’d expected. I have rather a soft spot for Prince Augustus and his penchant for getting himself into the most awkward situations! Daffy, short for Daffodil, is a sweet heroine and her love of history and preserving it made her the kind of character that I wouldn’t mind having tea with because the conversation would be so interesting! Naturally, I was rooting for the couple from the start, and the more impossible their situation seemed, the more I hoped that they would win out in the end. You’ll just have to read the book yourself though to find out if they do…

To Love a Prince is a fantastic addition to Rachel’s lineup of books, and I can’t wait for book 2 in the series to be released. (Yes, I’ll definitely pre-order it!)
